Our Treatments
At Evolve Dental Clinic, we look after smiles of every kind — whether you've popped in for a routine clean-up, need a tooth fixed before flying home, or are planning something more involved like an implant or a full smile makeover. Whatever brings you in, we'll talk you through your options in plain English, give you time to ask questions, and make sure you're comfortable at every step.

Crowns & Bridges
A crown is essentially a custom-made "cap" that fits over a tooth that's been weakened, broken, or heavily filled. Once it's bonded into place, it becomes the new outer surface of your tooth — stronger, smoother, and matched to the color of your other teeth.

A bridge brings back your bite, stops your other teeth from drifting into the gap, and looks completely natural. Depending on what's needed, we make bridges from porcelain bonded to a metal base, or from all-ceramic materials that are matched to your tooth color.

Not sure which is right for you? We'll help you weigh up the options at your consultation.

Dental Implants
If you've lost a tooth — to an accident, decay, or gum disease — an implant is the closest thing to growing it back. It's a small titanium post that we gently place into your jawbone, where it acts as a new "root." Once your bone has healed around it (which takes a few months), we attach a custom made replacement tooth on top. The result looks, feels, and works just like a natural tooth.

General & Preventive
Dentistry
The everyday care that keeps your teeth healthy for life.
Most visits to a dentist aren't about big procedures — they're about catching
small problems before they become big ones. Our general dentistry covers
regular check-ups, professional cleaning and polishing (sometimes called
scaling), tooth-coloured fillings, simple extractions, and advice on looking after
your teeth at home.
A clean and check-up every six months is the single best thing you can do for
your teeth. It removes the hardened plaque a toothbrush can't shift, lets us spot
cavities while they're tiny, and keeps your gums healthy.
For visitors to Goa, this is also a great chance for a quick smile refresh while
you're on holiday.
What's included
Regular check-ups and oral health assessments
Professional cleaning and polishing (scaling)
Tooth-coloured fillings
Simple extractions
Personalised advice on home care
Holiday smile refresh for visitors to Goa

Why every 6 months?
Hardened plaque (tartar) can form in as little as a few weeks. Once hardened,
it can only be removed by a dentist — brushing alone won't do it. Regular visits
keep this in check before it leads to gum disease or cavities.

15–20 years, often a lifetime
With proper care and regular check-ups, dental implants are the longest-
lasting tooth replacement option available. Many patients never need theirs
replaced at all.
Dental Implants
A permanent, natural-looking way to replace a missing tooth.
If you've lost a tooth — to an accident, decay, or gum disease — an implant is the
closest thing to growing it back. It's a small titanium post that we gently place
into your jawbone, where it acts as a new "root." Once your bone has healed
around it (which takes a few months), we attach a custom-made replacement
tooth on top. The result looks, feels, and works just like a natural tooth.
Why people choose implants
Built to last. With good care, implants typically last 15–20 years, and often
a lifetime.
They don't rely on the teeth next to them for support, unlike a bridge.
They help preserve your jawbone, which can otherwise shrink when a tooth is
missing for a long time.
You can eat, speak, and smile without giving them a second thought.
Am I a candidate?
To be a good candidate for an implant, you'll need healthy gums and enough
bone to hold the post in place. We'll do a thorough check at your first visit and let
you know honestly whether implants are right for you, or whether another option
might suit you better.
Crowns & Bridges
Restoring teeth that are damaged, decayed, or missing.
Dental Crowns
A crown is essentially a custom-made "cap" that fits over a tooth that's been
weakened, broken, or heavily filled. Once it's bonded into place, it becomes the
new outer surface of your tooth — stronger, smoother, and matched to the colour
of your other teeth.
Modern crowns are made from porcelain or ceramic and are remarkably tooth-
like. Most people can't tell the difference between a crowned tooth and a natural
one.
A crown might be the right answer if you have:
A tooth that's been heavily filled and isn't strong enough on its own
A cracked or fractured tooth that needs protection
A tooth that's had a root canal and needs reinforcing
A discoloured or oddly-shaped tooth you'd like improved
An implant that needs a tooth on top
A bridge that needs anchoring
Dental Bridges
A bridge is a way to fill the gap left by one or more missing teeth. As the name
suggests, it literally bridges the space — using the healthy teeth on either side as
anchors to hold a replacement tooth (or teeth) in the middle.
A bridge brings back your bite, stops your other teeth from drifting into the gap,
and looks completely natural. Depending on what's needed, we make bridges
from porcelain bonded to a metal base, or from all-ceramic materials that are
matched to your tooth colour.
Choosing between an implant, a bridge, or a denture comes down to your
specific situation — the number of teeth missing, the health of the surrounding
teeth, your budget, and your preferences. We'll walk you through the pros and
cons of each so you can make the right call for you.

Crown vs Bridge vs Implant
Not sure which is right for you? A crown covers and protects an existing tooth.
A bridge replaces a missing tooth using neighbours for support. An implant
replaces the root itself. We'll help you weigh up the options at your
consultation.

The reputation is unfair
Modern root canal treatment is routinely performed under proper local
anaesthetic. Most patients are surprised by how straightforward it is. The real
discomfort is the toothache that makes it necessary — not the treatment
itself.
Root Canal Treatment
Saving a tooth that would otherwise need to be pulled out.
The phrase "root canal" makes most people wince, but the reality is much gentler
than its reputation. It's simply a way of saving a tooth whose nerve has become
infected — usually because of a deep cavity, a crack, or an old filling that has
broken down.
You might need a root canal if you're experiencing
A persistent, throbbing toothache
Sharp pain when biting down or putting pressure on a tooth
Sensitivity to hot, cold, or sweet things that lingers long after the trigger is
gone
Swelling around a tooth or in the gum nearby
A bad taste in your mouth that won't go away
What actually happens
We numb the area thoroughly so you don't feel pain, then carefully clean out the
infected tissue from inside the tooth. The hollow space is disinfected and sealed
with a special filling. Most teeth that have had a root canal are then fitted with a
crown to give them strength for the years ahead.
Modern techniques and proper anaesthesia mean a root canal today feels much
like having a regular filling — just a bit longer in the chair. And the upside is
enormous: you keep your own tooth, and the pain that brought you in is gone.
Cosmetic Dentistry
For when you'd like your smile to look as good as it feels.
Hardly anyone is born with a perfect smile — but with today's techniques, almost
anyone can have one. Cosmetic dentistry is about small, often surprisingly
simple, changes that make a big difference to how you feel about your teeth.
Some of the things we can do
Teeth whitening to lift years of staining from coffee, tea, wine, or smoking
Tooth-coloured fillings to repair chips, cavities, or rough spots invisibly
Reshaping teeth that are uneven, pointed, or out of step with the rest
Closing gaps between teeth with bonding or veneers
Veneers — thin porcelain shells that transform the front of a tooth
Crowns to cover badly broken or discoloured teeth
More than just looks
Many of these treatments do more than just look good. Closing a gap can
improve your bite. Smoothing a chipped edge can stop further damage.
Whitening, done properly under a dentist's care, is far gentler on your enamel
than the kits you can buy off a shelf.
If you've ever caught yourself smiling with your mouth closed in photos, come in
for a chat. We'll listen to what you're hoping to change and suggest the simplest,
kindest route to get you there.

Whitening: professional vs home kits
Professional whitening, done under a dentist's supervision, achieves far better
results than anything you can buy off a shelf — and is much gentler on your
enamel. Most patients see a noticeable difference after a single session.
